New in Simply Safe Dividends: Notifications and Income Tracking of Special Dividends

We've got a nice update in Simply Safe Dividends to share with you: you'll now receive an email notification when a company in your portfolio declares a special dividend. You'll also see upcoming special dividends reflected in your portfolio's Income Calendar.

Here's an example of a special dividend announcement, which will include the amount you're expected to receive from the special dividend:

With these notifications, you'll no longer be surprised when special dividends hit your brokerage account, and you can plan ahead for the incoming cash.

Within your Income Calendar, payments from special dividends are now included. In the Next 30 Days view, drilling into a particular day will list any payments from special dividends:

Under The Year Ahead tab, monthly totals now include income from special dividends. You'll also see the total amount of special dividends you're expected to receive broken out from your portfolio's projected annual income (which excludes special dividends):
